A Mother To Me

A mother is the greatest thing a girl can be,

And a mother you are to me.

A caring soul meant to love,

Whose happiness is shown in the light above.

You have said that love is a gift,

It’s a gift from you that I treasure for all eternity.

For a loving mother such as you

And all I truly need.

Now that I am grown, I am able to understand
